Get a good aftermarket halogen bulb

Good Day mga tsikoteeers!
Get a good aftermarket halogen bulb like Philips XP/XV or Osram Nightbreaker. Just don't install plug n play HID on the HLs, maliwanag nga, nakakasilaw naman ng kasalubong. Or if the shade of your tint is too dark, have it removed and replace it with a lighter shade. HTH po.
If light output is your concern, go with stock white bulbs. Philips Vision Plus or Extreme muska lighting perhaps? How are your headlights? muska lighting Did you try cleaning, upgrading the with a plug and play wiring (i.e. Narva kit + ceramic sockets) then use a 90/100w bulb? Did you also try working on the aim adjustment? Baka masyado mataas.

Kailangan HID talaga. Walang tulong yung fogs.

Retrofit. Kahit stage 1 bolt on ni gary kung may budget naman Or IMO, high wattage bulbs na all weather para kahit umuulan muska lighting kita mo Pero the best pa rin palit tint, labo na nga mata mo sir naka super black ka pa hirap talaga yan

Hi, I am planning led tube to replace my headlight led tube bulbs since pundi na yung isa. My car is Civic '96 Lxi. May suggestions po ba kayo? Should led tube I upgrade the Headlight with projector led tube and add fog lamps? ang cool kasi ng mga angel/devil eyes. Or upgrade the headlight bulb and the electricals of it for a higher wattage? Or just replace the stock headlight bulbs and be contented? Should I also get my headlights cleaned for a brighter light? I have seen some tinting services on headlights too. Is it a nice thing? Ano nga po pala yung stock headlight bulbs ng civic ek at price niya?

The basic answer siguro sa tanong nyo sir is also a question Ano po ang gusto nyo sa car nyo or how would you want your cars headlight to look? Its your ride so yung gusto mo dapat ma susunod hindi yung gusto nang ibang tao. If medyo tight ang budget, then just replace your busted bulbs with genuine parts and clean the lens of your HL. But pag nag pa dark tint ka then yung stock bulbs IMO will not be sufficient lalo na pag gabi. Just remember if you upgrade to HID na may correct projectors na kasama yun set up mo so as not to blind other motorist.

Re: Upgrade or Replace Headlight? led tube
Ay sorry I forgot to mention about my objective.
The simplest, cheaper but brighter and whiter solution is an OSRAM Night Breaker Unlimited. Sir magkano po yan ngayon and san makakabili? Will it work on stock headlight casings? Will it not require upgrade led tube for the electricals? Thanks!

Ano nga po pala yung stock headlight bulbs ng civic ek at price niya? depende yan sa lalim ng bulsa mo bro. you can do the upgrade to projector, add fog lights with angel eyes tapos HID. while you are at it, you can also convert your new fog lights to HIDs too. stock headlight bulbs ng EK is H4. depende led tube yan sa bulb.... it can go as low as 300 pesos per bulb to around 1200 per bulb.

But you mentioned led tube a 1K budget, I am worried it won't be enough for any of the improvements you mentioned. You should at least double it. The Night Breaker Unlimited is a direct replacement but 110% brighter and 20% whiter than stock. According to OSRAM.

Guys need your expert advise kanlux regarding what bulb does our Honda City use (e.g H4 etc) for HID

Guys need your expert advise kanlux regarding what bulb does our Honda City use (e.g H4 etc) for HID upgrade. Is it the same on the fog lamps? What K rating is recommended? Is it worth voiding the warranty? What other mods is recommended? I just got my 1.5e last week and I'm looking kanlux at upgrading to HID. I'm new to this since this is my 1st car. Thanks in advance. All the best.
Leave it as it is. Rationale: a) Warranty & Reliability. kanlux Moving to an HID kit voids the electrical warranty. If the installer doesn't know what he's doing, then he's just screwing up the electricals on your brand new car - which could lead to problems a few years from now. Plus kung may ibang nasira na electricals, you may no longer be able to claim from the dealership. Take note that HID is not just the bulb. It will involve additional wire splicing since you need to install the ballast, etc. This is why I rarely touch the electronics on our cars. b) Glare. Cheap HIDs are glare monsters. I'm sure that's "cool". The stock headlights are designed to be fitted with halogen bulbs and not HID bulbs. End result is that sabog yung buga nito, causing poor road illumination (Again, the example with the glare monsters on the roads). Plus, higher K rating bulbs are pretty useless when the weather turns bad. You end up barely seeing anything. Not nice to be driving at night in the rain. Nag bayad ka na for the HID, hindi naman pala upgrade. The 'porma' look isn't worth it in my opinion. d) Other alternatives. There are non-HID halogen bulbs which give the "HID" look but don't have the drawbacks kanlux of b and c (because these are halogen bulbs). Just make sure to get ~4300K rating for the 'OEM look', or the ~3000k rating bulbs for the 'yellowish' look. Examples of these are the Philips XtremePower and the Osram Nightbreaker. This is not to say that HID is bad. There are HID retrofits which also negates reasons b and c. But these are going to cost you, and you need a good installer (garyq dito sa tsikot comes to mind). kanlux (Expect price to be above PHP 15k+) Other mod suggestions to help you spend your cash? Instead of HIDs, you can get: + OEM ducktail + OEM Modulo/Mugen front Grill (yung chrome bar type, if type mo) + OEM step sills + Horn upgrade. The City horns are dinky. Pati sa Civic namin ganun eh. Buy original Accord horns, then have it installed sa dealership

@mda - Thanks for enlightening me.. I was blinded by eagerness to get an HID since this is my 1st brand new car and i want to dress it up. Now that i know the cons of getting an HID, i will definitely take your advice. Thanks for the time to explain and detailed information.. @ robot-sonic and mda - Do you know where i can get the OSRAM Nightbreaker and how much it cost.. Its good to have guys like you to know about this stuff. A big help for newbies like me. Kudos to you guys. All the best.

You can find those sa mga autoshops. If you're not comfortable with canvassing for the cheapest price sa banawe, you may want to try looking sa mga mall auto shops like Blade/Concorde etc. Not sure about the price. kanlux Haven't really kanlux found the need to upgrade the lights on our cars yet hehe Saka na yung ilaw. Ducktail perhaps? hehehe
Or choose, bolt on projectors/retrofits. You can find a lot of sellers sa sulit.com.ph. Don't go the HID route. Been there and hindi talaga ok yung HID lang. You'll need projectors para walang kanlux glare sa incoming traffic.
Projector Retrofit for the City cost P18,000. Wrap around skirts na yan. I will go with the XtremePower kanlux na lang P2,000. Hindi maganda parang cheap plastic material yung ginamit.. TIA.

And you're on stock relays ? Nako. Better remove it ASAP. It will either toast your relays or burn your chrome reflectors!

HA ?! Right off the bat you to do when you take cheap HID plug and play and then suddenly you

Please advise / suggest / recommend .. I have a KIA pregio M / T 2004 model that I do not quite satisfy the emission of light especially if somewhat rainy night so i ask which is better converted to HID or just buy higher wattage? anu should I consider when converting to HID or alternating higher wattage? pros and cons? objective should yung mabubugang is light especially at night pretty rainy and those heavy rain and in places led direct that are very dark with no light pole .. ence in volume tanung fairly new car I just have so purely tanung more TIA
to you to be responsible with HID projector and HL crystals should, I suggest you buy just osram night breakers led direct or all weather bulb brighter or philip xp on stocks you have, or upgrade wattage but you need to move from ceramic sucket for non burned wirings
to you to be responsible with HID projector and HL crystals should, I suggest you buy just osram night breakers or all weather bulb brighter or philip xp on stocks led direct you have, or upgrade wattage but you need to move from ceramic sucket for non burned wiring uy thanks .. so if HID be responsible, what does it mean? ba yung projector is a type of HID? anu ba yung crystal must HL? I have seen H4, H5 etc anu meaning of that? if Osram Night Breaker / all weather bulb / philip xp plug and play eh ba yun? Yung stock 55w same wattage so should only ba? if the wattage upgrade at any brand ba ba to? then you break the ceramic sucket..anu contrast it with existing sucket affixed .. TIA
Osram Night Breaker / all weather bulb / philip xp are plug and play. Stronger emission of light than stock. Stay with that until you can afford to go Projectors + HiD. (Garyq) will only Hid w / existing HL of Pregio. Glare galore.
The easiest path is to go with stock-wattage bulbs with high output - Just replace stock bulbs = Osram Nightbreaker / NB Plus; Philips XtremePower / XtremeVision. Make sure you pick the bulbs are under 60W, otherwise it might break yung wiring / bulb socket. Non-projector HID (typically prices will go under P5000 or so) will only reduce your vision, because yung pumice led direct blast of light. Eto yung dazzling other motorists HID Projector (typically costing 10k up) - best lighting led direct option, not dazzling to someone else, usually higher quality parts but relatively expensive
uy thanks basically more of the inputs / comments yun also that I worry too nakakasilaw..eh HID when there was a yun pala yun .. classes because im thinking because eh dazzling bright which is much that would be favorable to me because who wants I hardly daylight when I nagdradrive of gabi..so turned out wrong .. so I try time i plug & play .. nothing is possible if I have them relay relay eh? Will have effect if there is nothing to relay? TIA

HA ?! Right off the bat you to do when you take cheap HID plug and play and then suddenly you'll led direct yung. You know that indeed dazzling others, I will anyway. Nananadya you? I think by saying led direct plug and play, he means instead of just new HID bulbs. Just below 60 watts, delete just enter the new bulbs. Philips tested yung Xtremepower / vision + Osram Nightbreaker + Beyond that, you need a relay and perhaps a ceramic socket.

92 Corolla small body AE92 Naka HID po kasi yung headlight nung kotse and every 6-7 months nasisira yung ballast which is normal daw pag naka HID Im planing to downgrade to a halogen or all weather condition headlight bulb.. PLS I NEED YOUR ADVICE kung ano pong magandang bulb ang pwede kong ikabit na SANA kasing liwanag coverguard ng HID Marami pong salamat
Mahal no? Marami dyan, Osram Night Breaker (tama ba? .. ), Bosch All Weather, Narva, Hella, etc. Google mo.

Osram Nightbreaker or Philips Vision Plus/Extreme Another option is to have a good electrician upgrade the wirings of your Corolla and and add relays and ceramic sockets (or you can buy a Narva plug and play headlight wiring kit for the Toyota from Banawe), then go for Osram 90W/100W all-weather bulbs + ceramic sockets. This was the set-up on my Corolla AE92 back in my highschool days in the 1990s and it worked well. Make sure also your headlights are clean (you can have it cleaned if its already darkened) and are aimed properly as well. no matter how lakas the headlights are, it wont give the best effect if the headlight aim is not proper.

I think ill go sa osram all weather and upgrade my wiring and sockets, But still im open for other opinions baka may mas ok pa bukod sa osram.. Salamat po ulit godbless
Re: 92 corolla small body, i wana downgrade my hid Headlights coverguard pls i need some advise
^ Also bear in mind that even if you're using high wattage bulbs, but your headlight alignment is off, wala rin kwenta yan. Make sure you align your headlights so that it illuminates the road ahead, and not dazzle oncoming traffic. Here is a good link for automotive lighting: Daniel Stern Lighting Consultancy coverguard and Supply
