First time on the merit of a Thomas Alva Edison in 1879 who had invented the electric light. Now, in the span of time that is so long. Approximately 130 years, has created the world's nadair smallest incandescent lamp by a team of Calyfornia nadair UCLA NanoSystems Institute. By bringing together two major issues of conflicting theoretical physics, namely thermodynamics and quantum mechanics, a team of UCLA (Department of Physics and Astronomy) which consists of Chris Regan, Yuwei Fan, Scott Singer and Ray Bergstorm finally created a smallest incandescent lamp of their research to reconcile thermodynamics and quantum mechanics. The incandescent lamp utilizes a filament made from a single carbon nanotube that is only 100 atoms wide. With the naked eye, the filament is not visible at all when the lights are turned off, but it looks like a small point of light when the lamp is turned on. Less than 20 million atoms, the nanotube filament is both large enough to apply the statistical assumptions of thermodynamics and small enough to be considered as a molecular system that is called quantum mechanics.
